How to get to Fukuoka University

A typical way to go to Fukuoka University is to use the Fukuoka City Subway. Trains operate between 5:30 am and 0:25 am and will come every 4-8 minutes. The subway route map is here. The nearest station to the conference venue is Nanakuma Station on the Nanakuma Line.
  • from Fukuoka Airport (Total Amount: 330 yen, Duration: about 50 min.)
    1. The Fukuoka City Subway station in the airport is located inside the Domestic Terminal building. The map to go there is here.
    2. Take the train at Fukuokakuko (Fukuoka Airport) Station on the Kuko Line for Chikuzen-Maebaru, Meinohama, or Nishi-Karatsu, and get off at Tenjin Station.
    3. Follow "3." in "from Hakata Station" bellow.
  • from Hakata Station (Total Amount: 300 yen, Duration: about 45 min.)
    1. To go to the Fukuoka City Subway station in Hakata Station, follow overhead signs to "Subway Kuko Line" pointed the way for passengers at Hakata Station.
    2. Take the train at Hakata Station on the Kuko Line for Chikuzen-Maebaru, Meinohama, or Nishi-Karatsu, and get off at Tenjin Station.
    3. Transfer from the Kuko Line (at Tenjin Station) to the Nanakuma Line (at Tenjin-minami Station). Please make sure you use the transfer gate and don't forget your ticket. To transfer between the Lines, it takes about 8 minitues to walk in Tenjin Chikagai (Underground Shopping Mall). The map is here.
    4. Follow "from Tenjin-minami Station" bellow.
  • from Tenjin Station (Total Amount: 300 yen, Duration: about 35 min. )
    1. Walk in Tenjin Chikagai (Underground Shopping Mall) from Tenjin Station to Tenjin-minami Station on the Nanakuma Line. The map is here.
    2. Follow "from Tenjin-minami Station" bellow.
  • from Tenjin-minami Station (Total Amount: 300 yen, Duration: about 25 min. )
    1. Take the train at Tenjin-minami Station on the Nanakuma Line for Hashimoto, and get off at Nanakuma Station. It takes about 14 minutes.
    2. It is a 10 minute-walk from Nanakuma Station to the conferene venue. The route is here.
