Our group studies catalysis and powder engineering for future energy technologies andchemical industries.

・　Catalysis for future energy technology.

On the basis of analysis of catalyst surfaces and adsorbed molecules, we reveal themechanisms and functions of catalytic reactions in order to the development of newly-functioned catalysts. Particularly, we study non-precious metal electrocatalysts forpolymer electrolyte fuel cells, their electroconductive support materials, mechanism andcontrol of carbon depositionon electrocatalysts in solid oxide fuel cells.
